I Would Rather Be Here.....

than pretty much anywhere else! I would definitely rate Lake Powell as my number one vacation spot on earth! And luckily I got to spend the last week there. What isn't awesome about it? Sleeping under the stars, all day boosting sessions, epic breakfasts, blue water, beautiful red rock canyons, cliff jumping . . . . Sooooo good!

Boostage!

What we hiked through for six hours....

It was a great workout though.....

And don't think we didn't see wild horses!

Might not be Hawaii, but it comes pretty close

Weekend Project

A couple of weeks ago I got really sick of my white walls and decided to decorate my living room. Me and my friend Brooke took a trip to my favorite furniture store, West Elm, and I got a coffee table and some decorations. Then we spent the whole day painting the walls blue and brown. It turned out great - I especially love the brown paint! So here are some pics of our hard day's work, however the pictures don't do it justice.

Bunko Night

A bunch of girls in our ward started a bunko night once a month. Notice how Bunko sounds suspiciously like Bingo... I think I am officially part of an old lady group, but it's cool. This month's theme was "The Rockin' 80s" as you can see by the amazing mohawk.

That's some serious hairspray

The night got pretty wild

River Trip

Our camera finally dried up so here are a few pictures from our river trip.

4 Years Later . . .

This week was our 4th anniversary! I can't believe we've been married that long! So I told Jeff that all I wanted for our anniversary was to do something outdoors and for him to plan it. We were planning on going camping but that didn't work because I was out of town all week for work and got in too late on Friday. Anyways when I got home Friday night he took me out to this super good restaurant called Crush 29 (the chocolate bomb is amazing!) and then suprised me and told me he set up a white water rafting trip for us on Saturday! If you know Jeff, he's not very good at keeping a secret or keeping anything a suprise so I was pretty impressed!

So anyway, Saturday we drove up to Auburn which is an old mining town about a half hour away and got on a bus to go to the river. I kind of started freaking out when we got there and they gave us helmets to wear and told us to save ourselves if we fell out! The rapids were class 3 and 4 and there was one class 5 that they actually made us get out of the boats and hike around because it was so gnarley! At certain points I was literally afraid for my life. There was some serious adrenaline rush going on. It ended up being such a fun trip though! Props to Jeff for a great anniversary!

Here's some pictures of the biggest rapid we rode called Tunnel Chute. These aren't actually pictures of us (our waterproof camera got ruined in the water - who would've thought) I found them online, but it is the same rapid we went down.
